Getting started on Bitcoin.com is quite easy. The wallet is available freely for any Android or iOS operating system. Install the application, then create a portfolio. The platform allows users to create as many wallets as possible.
Proceed to purchase Bitcoin to add to the wallet. It allows purchasing from the app or an outside party then transferred to the wallet.
Feel free to use your Bitcoin at will. The site provides for sending, receiving, spending, and trading the assets anytime.
The wallet comes with several features for the ultimate user experience. It provides for an easy to use platform that supports two currencies; Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
It also provides for a 12- word passphrase when signing up. The phrase comes in handy during account reclamation in case of blockage or loss of passwords.
Bitcoin.com comes with a simple and easy to use interface. The website is clean and loads quickly. It also provides a navigation bar that allows the user to access the home, receive, scan, send, and settings. One accesses almost everything from the interface.
The other advantage of the wallet is that it allows for secure credit card registration and verification. By using Simplex to process the credit cards, the user can purchase coins using fiat currency seamlessly.
It also provides for InstantPay, which allows for faster payments to any other Bitcoin wallet.
Although functional, the platforms come with several issues every user must consider before signing up. Only sign up when ready to look past the problems.
The first concern that comes with the platform is high transaction fees. The platform charges 2.5% on Bitcoin transactions. This is quite expensive, given there are other platforms that support free operations.
The lack of dedicated customer support is also not the best a trader can opt for. The site provides a user forum. Users post their concerns on the forum, hoping the others help out.
Lastly, the other concern is security. The site is yet to adopt the two-step authentication password, which is widespread in most wallets. A weak password exposes the traders in case of loss of devices or access by unauthorized people.
Bitcoin.com is an ideal wallet for those looking for hassle-free purchasing and selling of Bitcoin. The platform provides for secure transactions that save the headaches experienced using other platforms.
There are several concerns to look into. Other than high transaction costs, the site does not provide the best of security and does even worse on customer support.
Ultimately, only go for the wallet if you don’t have money to buy a high-end one. However, consider shopping around for better value.
